Today, March 21, in Balti, the activities of launching the national campaign “Collective Labour Contract – the guarantee of your rights” continued, attended by the board of the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM), Valeriu Berlinschi, secretary of the National Commission for Collective Consultations and Negotiations, Alexandru Gheţu, head of the labour relations and social partnership directorate of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection, trade union leaders and representatives of the social partners.
Oleg Budza, president of the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova, defined the collective labour agreement as an art of negotiation between the employer and the representatives of the employees, ie trade unions. As well as the fact that, following the latest amendments to the Labour Code of the Republic of Moldova, the trade unions have to manifest as never before the firm position and the skills in the process of negotiating the collective labour agreement, which, after giving up the employment record book, becomes an extremely important document for employees. But, based on it, the individual labour contract will be concluded.
For Valeriu Berlinschi, secretary of the National Commission for Collective Consultations and Negotiations, the national campaign “The Collective Labour Agreement – the guarantee of your rights” will serve as a stimulus to boost the negotiations between trade unions and employers, for the development of social dialogue at company, branch and national level.
Alexandru Gheţu, head of the policy department in the field of labour relations and social partnership directorate of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection, came up with an edifying statement. In his opinion, it is precisely in the enterprises where collective labour agreements are concluded there are primary trade union organizations, where there is a social constructive dialogue, fewer labour conflicts, fewer problems in terms of safety and health at work.
Vladimir Tonciuc, president of the Balti territorial representative of the National Confederation of Employers of Moldova, said he supports the campaign initiated by the CNSM and expressed the hope that this will contribute to the improvement of the work conditions.
Wishing to emphasize the efficiency of the social dialogue and the role of collective bargaining, Sergiu Sainciuc, vice president of the CNSM, pointed out that this way can be ensured the observance of the rights and guarantees of the employees.
Ana Selina, president of the Trade Union Federation “SINDINDCOMSERVICE”, invoking the experience gained at the level of the trade union, outlined the challenges and solutions for trade unions from the perspectives of the social dialogue on a branch scale. The intervention of Elizavete Iurcu, vice-president of the Federation of Trade Unions from Communications, proved to be useful in this context too.
Aliona Calistru, president of the trade union committee of the Balti municipal hospital, Anatol Moraru, president of the trade union committee of the Alecu Russo State University, and Maria Amarfi, president of the trade union committee of SRL Balti-Gaz, insisted on demonstrating that social dialogue at the level of economic unity is the guarantee of the social stability of the employees.
Tomorrow, March 22, in Cahul, will be completed the launch of the national campaign “Collective Labour Agreement – the guarantee of your rights “.
