Children of Turkish trade union members visited the Republic of Moldova as part of an exchange of experience program

After a group of children of employees, trade union members, from the Moldovan building automobile and agricultural machinery industry trade union federation, took part in the International Children’s Festival organized in Ankara, Turkey, between 16 June and 23 June, recently, 30 children of Turkish trade union members from “Türk Metal Sendikası” had the possibility to rest in our country.

The action is part of a process of cultural exchange and experience that has existed for many years between the trade unionists of the two countries through which the children of the Moldovan trade unionists visit Turkey where they participate in cultural and artistic activities and the children of the trade union colleagues from Turkey visit the Republic of Moldova.

As part of the program, the children of the trade unionists in Turkey visited several tourist attractions in Chisinau, including the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History, the Organ Hall, the Classical Alee of the Public Garden “Stefan cel Mare”. At the same time, the children rested in the “Zimbetul” Camp in Vadul lui Voda, where they were trained in cultural and sports activities.

According to Boris Babici, President of the Trade Union of Workers from Building Automobile and Agricultural Machinery Industry of the Republic of Moldova, this program contributes to the development of bilateral relations, develops the exchange of experience and promotes unionism among young people.
