National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) celebrated on Friday, October 7, the World Day for Decent Work by organizing several awareness campaigns in the country.
This year, World Day for Decent Work, at international level has the slogan “STOP CORPORATE GREED” and aims to raise public awareness, of state authorities and the business community about the negative social and economic impact international corporations have on employees.

Thus, CNSM has promoted the concept of decent work in the information campaigns in Chisinau, Balti and Stauceni.
CNSM representatives have communicated to citizens about activity of trade unions and informed about the actions directed on protection of rights and interests of employees. In the same time, trade unions have distributed materials containing useful information to promote the concept of decent work.
According to Petru Chiriac, vice president of CNSM, who attended a meeting with students from the National College of Viticulture and Winemaking in the city Stauceni, this day is significant for the global trade union movement and is a good opportunity to discuss about decent work.
