Members of the Confederal Committee of the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) met on Thursday, 25th of February, in ordinary meeting to discuss a number of issues of social and economic importance, but also organizational.
Thus, trade unionists decided repeatedly to request the Government to initiate the procedure for amending the art.96 of the Insolvency Law on the basis that some of its provisions, which refer to the action of the Collective labour agreement, contradict national and international principles and norms.
Also, members of the Confederal Committee discussed on the situation in the field of population employment and unemployment in Moldova, submitting proposals to improve it.
Trade unionists took note of information concerning the activity of the Labour Inspectorate of Trade Unions during 2015 and the objectives set for the current year, the completion of the Action Plan of CNSM for 2015 to achieve the Strategy of CNSM for the years 2012-2017, but also about the CNSM Plan for trade union training and research for 2016.
During the same meeting, Tatiana Marian has been appointed as President of the Youth Commission of CNSM being approved and its nominal composition. Currently, Marian holds the position of president of the Youth Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Communications and president of the Youth Committee of the Pan-European Regional Council (PERC).
