Railway workers’ claims were submitted to all decision makers

Trade Union Federation of Railway Workers of Moldova sent today, March13, the claims adopted unanimously at the protest on Saturday, March 11, to the General Director of SE “Railway of Moldova” – Iurie Topala, Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure – Iurie Chirinciuc , Prime Minister Pavel Filip, President of Parliament – Andrian Candu and President of the country – Igor Dodon.

We recall that the employees of “Railway of Moldova”, supported by national trade unions, picketed government headquarters two days ago, demanding the pay of salary arrears, exceeding 130 million lei.

The protest action was supported by the International Trade Union of Railway Workers and Transport Builders. It expressed concern over the situation of the railway in our country, urging the Moldovan authorities to take necessary measures to meet the claims of workers.
