The leadership of CNSM attends the VIII Congress of GCTU

A delegation consisting of the leadership of the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) and a group of trade union leaders from the national-branch trade union centres, participates today, September 12, at the work of the VIII Congress of the General Confederation of Trade Unions (GCTU), which takes place in the city of Moscow, Russian Federation.

The GCTU governing bodies will be elected at the Congress; the delegates will set out the activity directions for the period 2017-2022 and will adopt a resolution and a declaration of delegates at the Congress.

We note that on September 11, Moldovan trade unionists attended the meeting of the GCTU Council.

GCTU is a regional structure active in the Commonwealth of Independent States, comprising 10 national trade union centres in the respective countries and 31 international branch trade unions with a staff of more than 40 million members.
