The young unionists organized a public information campaign

The members of the Youth Commission of the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) organized on Saturday, August 12, an action of informing the population on the pedestrian street “Eugen Doga” in Chisinau, during the third edition of the Youth Festival.

The purpose of the action was to inform the public about the rights in the field of labour relations and the role of trade unions in this process. Representatives of the Youth Commission have distributed informative materials on these subjects and communicated about the work of the CNSM in the field of youth social-economic protection.

Various activities were organized within the Festival such as: panel discussions, fair of youth organizations, job fair, motivational discourses from youth for youth, contests, raffles, artistic cultural activities.

It should be mentioned that the Youth Festival was organized by the National Youth Council of Moldova, with the support of the UN Population Fund, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Moldova and the Rotaract Club. The event took place in the context of celebrating the International Youth Day.

This year, the International Youth Day is dedicated to the contribution of young people both in conflict prevention and transformation, as well as in inclusion, social justice and sustainable peace.
