“This conference is an important event for the trade unionists of the Republic of Moldova. During it we will discuss issues related to the evolution of the social partnership in the countries participating in the conference, how negotiations are conducted, the colleagues will share their experience in the social dialogue process. We want that through the social partnership to have social peace and we can achieve to solve the socio-economic problems faced by the trade union members,” said Margareta Strestian, president of the FSCRE.

The trade union leader has communicated about the activities of the CNSM lately, especially referring to the launching of the campaign “Collective Labour Agreement – the guarantee of your rights”, the actions in the field of security and health at work, the negotiations with the authorities and the social partners.

The participants of the conference found that an effective social partnership system is the system where the needs of all parties are taken into account, leading to the socio-economic development of a country as a whole. Those present, note that in CISPG member states are institutions and all the conditions have been created to strengthen the social partnership, both bipartite and tripartite. However, the participants say, it is necessary to make some improvements to ensure a better functioning of the social partnership: to increase the effectiveness of the negotiation process, to improve the mechanism and formats of participation of the partners in the process of elaboration of social and economic policies, to improve the working conditions, intensifying cooperation with international organizations.
