The members of the Confederal Committee joined in a meeting

The members of the Confederal Committee of the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) met today in the ordinary meeting to discuss several socio-economic and organizational issues.

Thus, trade unionists have decided to submit to the International Labour Office additional information on “Complaint against the Government for breach of the provisions of some articles of the ILO Convention no. 81 on labour inspection in industry and commerce “, submitted in June 2013. Since the proposals of CNSM on adapting national legislation to the ILO Convention no. 81 were rejected by the Government, members of the Confederal Committee propose to the International Labour Organisation to urge the Government to undertake the necessary steps to ensure effective implementation of that Convention, as recommended by the ILO Tripartite Committee on March 24, 2015.

During the meeting were approved and amendments of CNSM to the draft Law on State Budget 2016, Budget Law of state social insurance for 2016 and Law on the fund of the compulsory healthcare insurance for 2016, to be submitted to the Parliamentary Committee social protection, health and family and the parliamentary Commission for economy, budget and finance.

The members of the Confederal Committee decided on the creation, within the Labour Institute, of a Development Centre for Strategic Partnership VET (CDPS / VET) in the “Strengthening Social Partnership in Training”. CDPS / VET is an organizational structure with advisory role oriented to synergize the efforts of all institutions interested in consolidating, developing and modernizing education and training.

Trade unionists have heard the statistical report on staff training in 2015, information on the allocation of the state budget for organizing summer rest of children and the preparedness of summer camps for summer 2016.
