National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova (NCTUM) and BC “Unibank” SA have presented on Tuesday, June 4, at a press conference, the electronic card “SINDICARD” – an innovative and multifunctional product for Trade Union members.
The “SINDICARD” project is unique and original in the Republic of Moldova, produced in accordance with the latest technological trends implemented by global Trade Union movement. By means of the card, Trade Union members will benefit from a range of discounts on products and services provided by the partners of “SINDICARD” project. Also, the electronic card will confirm Trade Union membership and will serve as a debit card.
The President of the NCTUM, Oleg Budza, claims that SINDICARD is a useful and convenient in everyday life social service, aimed at supporting Trade Union members and their families.
“Besides the fact that by means of using SINDICARD card, the beneficiary will legitimize his Trade Union membership, it will offer discounts from 5 to 30% to a range of products and services, and also the free access to more online services,” said Budza.
The Trade Union leader noted that currently about 4,000 Trade Union members received SINDICARD cards and already have taken advantage of it, and by the end of the year their number will rise to 80 thousand.
The First Vice-President of Unibank, Ghenadie Cernei, mentioned that now each of us tends to spend his money rationally and by necessity to make savings, now with cSINDICARD it is possible.
“At the present moment the holders of SINDICARD are able to pay for goods and services at 217 commercial locations. All the saved money will be transferred to the customer’s card by the end of the month and a detailed report will be received by email. Also, card holders can benefit from interest-free credit to purchase goods in any store”, said Cernei.
Thanks to the “SINDICARD “card, Trade Union members will benefit from the payment facilities for juridical consulting, discounts on spa services, medical investigations, communications, gas stations, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, fitness centers, beauty salons, taxi services and other services. The list of partner-companies is steadily growing and can be seen on www.sindicard.md.
“SINDICARD” is a project of the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova realized in partnership with BC “UNIBANK” SA. In the future, NCTUM and UNIBANK aim to increase the range of services provided by means of electronic card, thus increasing the number of partners.
The SINDICARD project is a part of the development program of Trade Unions, adopted at the Congress II of the NCTUM and represents a new stage in the modernization and innovative development of the Trade Union movement in the country.
