Daria Bostan, chairman of the Organization of Women of the National Federation of Trade Unions of Agriculture and Food “Agroindsind” states that the right to dignity is totally ignored by state officials, employers and health workers, and with regret also by women because most of them are not informed and do not have fortitude and strength to uphold them.
“The situation is complicated by the lack of jobs and decent living conditions, low wages, informal employment, limited access to quality medicine for women and young ladies and to all their families, serious issues of violence and torture shown to woman in the family. The voice of rural women is very poor against the governing factor”, said Bostan.
