National company „TRADE UNION START” reached Hînceşti city

The informational department within the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova (NCTUM) organised Friday, October 31, 2014, an information seminar for young people of Hînceşti city. The action was organised within the project “Development of information and marketing strategy. Realization of Informational campaign “Join trade unions” („TRADE UNION START”).

The action’s goal was to inform the young people about the labour rights and how to create and join a trade union.

The trade union former Rodica Popescu presented the youth a large information about the activity of the Moldovan trade unions, specified the role and objectives of trade unions and motivated the youth to join trade unions and to create trade union organisations.

Hînceşti trade union leader Ana Cimpoieş mentioned that the organisation of such actions is necessary in order to inform the young people about their rights and to learn what is a trade union, what is the role of trade unions in the process of protection and promotion of employees’ rights and interests.

The project “Development of information and marketing strategy. Realization of Informational campaign “Join trade unions” is implemented by NCTUM and CNV Internationaal, trade union organisation of Netherlands.
