Over 30 employers across the country came with about 1,000 job offers at the VI edition of the Youth Job Fair, held in Chisinau on 27-28 May in the Forum of crafts / professions.
The event was organized at the initiative of the National Agency for Employment, under the Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) being its partner in organizing and conducting.
Young people looking for a job, have the opportunity to visit the stands of employers who proposed job offers from different areas: wholesale and retail clothing industry, manufacturing, transport and communications, financial activities, construction and others.
At the stand of CNSM, the members of the Youth Commission of CNSM show young people and all those who are looking for employment information on the work and the role of trade unions in the defense of the rights and interests of employees, promote the principles of decent work and communicate to all those concerned about dangers and risks that could be subjected to work under conditions that support the “informal” economy.
According to Petru Chiriac, vice president of CNSM, organizing such activities is more than necessary because they can help reduce youth unemployment, being a platform where young people have the opportunity to find a job at home, having no need to go to work abroad.
For those who cannot be present at the event, during the period 27 to 31 May 2016, it is organized the online Fair of jobs, ninth edition, with the theme “Jobs for Young people”. The online Fair platform is available on www.e-angajare.md.
