Trade Union Federation from Constructions and Building Materials Industry “SINDICONS” concluded a cooperation agreement with the General Trade Union Federation FGS “FAMILIA” from Romania. The document was signed during a joint meeting of the members of the Executive Committee of the Federation “SINDICONS” and the Federal Council of FGS “FAMILIA”, held on Thursday, May 19, in Chisinau on the occasion of marking 25 years of trade union collaboration between the two structures.
Thus, the parties pledged to share experience, knowledge and practice in the areas of trade union, social dialogue, OSH and cultural sport and to develop joint projects that meet the needs of trade union members of the two organizations.
Another important objective of this meeting was to promote the ILO Convention no.167 on occupational safety and health. “Colleagues from Romania already have experience in this area and came to share it with us. So far we have taken best practice in collective bargaining, training, social partnership and other projects undertaken by us during the last few years,” said Victor TALMACI, president of the Federation” SINDICONS “.
“In Romania we succeeded to establish and maintain a good partnership with employers. We want very much that such projects that we have managed to achieve in our country, as the Social house for builders and House of crafts, to acquire sentience in Moldova and we are open to give the necessary support in this regard. At the same time, we want to take further common steps, both in the context of the European aspirations of Moldova, and in strictly sectoral relations, and this meeting does nothing than to strengthen trade union cooperation that we have,” said George Bălăceanu, president of FGS “FAMILIA “.
General Trade Union Federation FGS “FAMILIA” gathers based on the free consent, trade union organizations from construction companies producing construction materials and ceramics, services and wood industry.
FGS “FAMILIA” is a member of the National Trade Union Confederation “Cartel Alfa” from Romania, which CNSM has concluded a cooperation agreement.
